The University of Louisville School of Dentistry seeks a Dental Clinic Coordinator II to support dental student clinicians in the Health Sciences Center clinic.

This full-time, regular position coordinates patient flow, manages appointments for a 20-student team, and ensures HIPAA/OSHA compliance while assisting students at chairside.

Located at 501 South Preston Street, Louisville, KY 40202, the role offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years dental assisting experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Completion of a dental assisting training program required.

Responsibilities

• Works with faculty, peers, and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care within the DMD clinics.
• Maintains current appointments for all patients assigned to their 20-student team.
• Serve as chair side assistant to the students when necessary.
• Maintains the cleanliness of associated cubes and checks that equipment is functioning properly.
• Stock cubicles and help maintain overall inventory.
• Reviews daily the patient Electronic Health Records and assists the students with accuracy of notes and corresponding codes.
• Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and Infection Control compliance at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
