Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years billing/related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding; dental EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the faculty practice and external billing agencies.
• Ensure accurate claims processing and timely posting of payments.
• Research denials and assist in follow-ups and resolutions.
• Research/locate insurance EOBs and initiate outbound patient calls.
