Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking an Entry Level Contact Center Agent for the School of Dentistry OMS. This on-site role operates in a hybrid technology-based/live agent center at UT Health San Antonio, with training provided and a fast-paced environment handling patient inquiries.

The candidate will schedule appointments, assist with meds and messages, and meet performance metrics while upholding HIPAA and clinical policies. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience in a patient or service-oriented setting.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English) but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of patient and clinical calls.
• Provide a positive patient experience in line with UT Health Patient Experience program.
• Schedule appointments per clinic guidelines.
• Assist patients with questions, refills, and messages to providers.
• Make outbound calls to schedule patients.
• Meet UT Health contact center performance metrics with focus on quality and timeliness.
• Provide service and scheduling for all clinical areas.
• Maintain high call quality assessment scores (95%-100%).
• Demonstrate professional demeanor in all interactions, in person or virtual.
• Participate in ongoing training and adapt to operational changes.
• Comply with HIPAA and clinical policies.
