The selected candidate will develop the biomaterials curriculum, secure funding, supervise graduate projects, and collaborate across departments to advance clinical materials and imaging initiatives.

Qualifications

• PhD in biomaterials from an accredited program.
• Postdoctoral training completed or in progress.
• Active NIH funding or clear evidence of potential.
• Evidence of collaborative biomaterials research in the field.
• Record of scholarly publications in relevant journals.
• Teaching experience with professional or graduate students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead biomaterials research in the lab.
• Contribute to the biomaterials curriculum for dental students and graduate programs.
• Secure internal and external funding to support research.
• Supervise dental students, residents and MS/PhD projects.
• Collaborate with clinicians on laboratory evaluation of treatment protocols.
