Webster Dental Care in Skokie, IL, is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to manage dental insurance claims, patient accounts, and accounts receivable, ensuring services are billed accurately and collected timely. This role requires strong knowledge of dental insurance terminology, EOBs, and claim follow-up, with experience preferred.

You will collaborate with the front office and clinical team to support billing inquiries and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous dental billing or dental insurance experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of dental insurance claims, EOBs, and accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with dental procedure codes and billing requirements preferred.
• Experience following up on outstanding insurance claims and aging accounts.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Submit dental insurance claims accurately and timely.
• Review claims for accuracy and required documentation before submission.
• Follow up on outstanding and unpaid insurance claims.
• Research claim denials and take appropriate follow-up action.
• Review EOBs and post payments/adjustments accurately.
• Monitor accounts receivable and outstanding patient balances.
• Contact insurance carriers to resolve claim issues.
• Assist patients with billing, insurance, and account questions.
• Review patient accounts for accuracy and identify balances for follow-up.
• Coordinate with front office/clinical team to obtain claim documentation.
• Maintain notes on claim status and communications.
• Identify recurring billing issues and report to management.
• Ensure insurance information and benefits are documented in patient records.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Assist with other billing/administrative tasks as needed.
