Augusta University’s DCG Billing Compliance Analyst will conduct internal billing and documentation audits, prepare reports, and monitor compliance across dental and medical services. The role supports program directors and uses established USG and AU policies to identify risks and drive corrective actions.

You will provide education on billing rules, participate in investigations, and maintain knowledge of CDT, CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS; collaboration with providers and staff is essential to uphold

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with clinical or administrative experience in dental/medical healthcare.
• Certification as CPC, CPMA, DANB or AHIMA is required or four years of related experience with certification.
• Knowledge of third-party payer rules, coding, billing, documentation, and reimbursement criteria.

Responsabilidades

• Audit billing and documentation across dental and medical services to identify risks.
• Provide education and training on billing policies and compliance.
• Prepare and submit interim and annual audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Conduct investigations of potential compliance violations and perform root cause analyses.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CMS, state/federal regulations and coding guidelines.
