Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a full-time General Dentist in Hollidaysburg, PA. You will manage the entire clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The role offers a daily 8-hr schedule, Monday–Friday, with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up to date with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited program)

Current state license to practice dentistry
