Job summary

Remington College in Cleveland is seeking a dedicated Dental Assisting instructor to train students in the field of dental assisting using approved instructional methods. The role is full-time at the Cleveland Campus with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of practical dental experience (as a dental assistant or dentist), and professional RDA certification/licensure.

We’re seeking a dental professional, preferably with some teaching experience, to join the academic team at our Cleveland Campus on a full-time basis. Salary is competitive.

As a Dental Assisting instructor, you will train students in your field of expertise using accepted and approved instructional methodology.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Teaches courses as assigned, instructs, and evaluates students, develops students’ skills and encourages growth, and tracks their attendance, performance, and grades.
• Participates in various administrative activities (e.g., attends faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).
• Participates in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.
• Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.

Education/Experience Needed:

As a Dental Assisting instructor, you must believe in the power of sharing your knowledge, motivating others, and putting students first and must be passionate about training tomorrow’s work force.

Additional requirements include:

• High School Diploma or a GED.
• At least three (3) years of practical work experience as a dental assistant or dentist.
• Professional RDA certification/licensure.
