Smile Brands Inc. in Sarasota, FL is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. You will greet patients, prepare rooms, and support GPs and specialists to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires completing state credentialing, CPR/BLS, knowledge of infection control, and a commitment to excellent patient care. Compensation is $21–$25 per hour, with benefits including PTO, health plans, and a 401k.

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.

Job description

Overview

In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed.

Schedule (days/hours)

monday -thurs 8-5 friday 8-1

Responsibilities

• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation

$21-$25/hour
