Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant!

Location: Port Clinton, Ohio

Are you passionate about dental care and helping patients achieve their best smiles? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist dentists during dental procedures
2. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
3. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
4. Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments
5. Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records
6. Ensure a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

1. Valid x-ray certification
2. High school diploma or equivalent
3. CPR certification (preferred)
4. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
5. Experience taking impressions and pouring models
6. Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep
7. Ability to setup and breakdown operatories
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
9. Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is preferred
