Beautiful, newly-renovated, modern dental practice... we are a small, private, general dental office offering all aspects of general dentistry, including bone grafting and implant dentistry. We treat patients of all ages who appreciate a warm, family atmosphere. Our small, cohesive team values teamwork, professionalism, and reliability. We are seeking an experienced dental assistant with a valid x-ray license.

Practice Details

• Participates only with PPO networks; does not accept DMO's, Medicare/Medicaid.
• Not a corporate practice.

Candidate Qualities

Must be skilled, friendly, caring, punctual, reliable, team-oriented, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

1. Seat and welcome patients.
2. Perform daily setup and end-of-day cleanup.
3. Take X-Rays / CBCT.
4. Assist the Doctor with operative and surgical procedures, using proper 4-handed dentistry techniques.
5. Manage sterilization following OSHA standards.
6. Prepare clinical areas for patients.
7. Assist the hygienist with prep and cleaning tasks.
8. Support front desk with clerical duties when needed.
9. Perform equipment maintenance weekly and monthly.
10. Maintain inventory within budget.
11. Support the dental team with knowledge of procedures and terminology.
12. Adhere to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations.
13. Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with patients.

Hours & Compensation

Summer hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day): Monday 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Wednesday 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday closed.

Winter hours (Labor Day - Memorial Day): Monday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Wednesday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Thursday 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM.

Pay: $20 - $30/hour based on experience and skills. Benefits include PTO, medical insurance with employer match, and a 401(k) plan.
