Job summary

Aspen Dental seeks a Dental Assistant to support clinical operations across our network of practices. You will assist with treatments, take x-rays, sterilize instruments, and help manage patient flow while contributing to a welcoming, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages.

• State-required x-ray certification if applicable.
• Active license/permit as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and break down operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns
• Perform impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
