The Dental Assistant works under the supervision of the Lead RDA and is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including patient care, education, administrative duties, and laboratory functions. All employees need to be flexible and available to provide dental assistance and perform front desk duties based on patient needs and as directed by office management.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare patients for Dentist examination through evaluations, including iTero scanning, X-rays, medical history, and vitals
  • Build relationships with patients to ensure they are comfortable and relaxed
  • Assist Dentist with procedures such as charting, suctioning, swabbing, rubber dam placement, and material preparation
  • Perform infection control to CDC, ADA, and OSHA standards; sterilize treatment areas and instruments
  • Advanced duties include sealant application and nitrous monitoring after completing required courses
  • Communicate effectively with patients and team members
  • Maintain high standards for quality and compliance
  • Work collaboratively with team members
  • Exhibit self-confidence and professionalism
  • Adapt to changing priorities and work environments
