WMCH has an entry-level position available in our Pike Dental Center as a Dental Assistant Trainee. Candidates will be required to complete the Dental Assistant Training Program through the University of Pitt Dental School. Requirements also include obtaining the Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) Certificate. While completing this DA Program, candidates will perform duties of a Sterilization Assistant, including decontamination, cleaning, preparing, and sterilizing procedures. They will coordinate clinical supplies and equipment maintenance and provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during examinations and treatments.
