We are seeking a Dental Assistant Team Trainer/Floor Coordinator to energize our Clinical team. Our West Babylon, NY location offers a collaborative environment designed to foster growth and creativity.

What to Expect

Engage in a fast-paced, supportive environment with comprehensive training, including our unique Global Training program. Many team members advance into roles such as Ortho Assistant, Clinical Team Lead, or Hygienist.

You will start with a 15-day Global Training, supported by an Ambassador, to familiarize you with our culture, services, and your role.

Personal responsibility for punctuality and going the extra mile is expected. Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend is helpful but not mandatory.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Train and mentor team members using your dental assisting experience
  • Develop training protocols and checklists
  • Mentor or coordinate outsourced trainers
  • Provide hands-on clinical training, including sterilization and lab skills
  • Train on digital scans, X-rays, OSHA regulations, and software
  • Communicate feedback to the administrative team and doctors
  • Evaluate team members at 90 days and annually
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow management
  • Support lab organization and room readiness
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in general or specialty dental assisting
  • Flexible scheduling, willing to travel between locations
  • Experience in delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced setting
  • Attention to detail, positive attitude, teamwork skills
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Passion for developing others and leadership in clinical settings
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • College degree optional
