Job summary

The Dental Assistant role at 42 North Dental involves providing clinical support to dentists, greeting and preparing patients, and assisting with a variety of dental procedures to improve efficiency and patient experience. You will expose radiographs, take intra-oral pictures, maintain infection control, disinfect and sterilize rooms, and help manage supplies while supporting a positive team approach.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Must possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs.
