Job summary

Gentle Dental Cambridge is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to provide clinical support, assist dentists, and help ensure a positive patient experience in our Cambridge practice.

You will greet patients, perform chairside assistance, take radiographs, deliver post‑op instructions, and maintain strict infection control while supporting team care. Earn $26–$28/hour with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Must possess required state certifications, licensure or registration.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs
