Job summary

The University at Buffalo is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join UB Dental, a teaching facility that partners with students and clinicians to provide dental care to the Buffalo-Niagara community. The role involves chair-side assistance, preparing operatories, and maintaining infection control protocols.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a benefits package. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or completed an accredited dental assisting program; CPR/BLS and CDA

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred? (as listed)

Responsibilities

• Serve as chair-side assistant to licensed dental practitioners and dental students in examination and treatment of patients.
• Obtain and replenish supplies, file and set up operatories for procedures.
• Assist in infection control and keep abreast of new developments in dental procedures.
