Job summary
HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. “Heart of Our Community” in Fall River, MA, is seeking a Dental Assistant Supervisor & Infection Control Coordinator to lead dental staff and ensure high standards of patient care.
The role reports to the Chief Dental Officer and Dental Office Manager and involves supervising assistants, supporting clinicians, and maintaining infection-control protocols. The schedule is Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri 8:00 am – 6:00 pm with Wed off, plus evenings and potential Saturday
Qualifications
- Completion of Dental Assistant program and MA Dental Assistant license required.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a dental setting.
- Community health or dental background required.
- Experience with Epic Wisdom or EMR required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
- Bilingual English, Spanish/Portuguese preferred.
- CORI clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all Dental Assistants and Outreach Staff; create schedules.
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Perform dental radiography and document treatments.
- Contribute to patient records and documentation.
