The Airway Dentists - Katy is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support our dentists with back-office duties, record patient histories, and assist during procedures, including scanning with Itero and handling crowns, implants, and aligners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Dental Assistant experience.
• Invisalign experience preferred.
• State License and CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and medical equipment.
• Proficient in taking radiographs.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of back office duties and systems.
• Record medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Assist the dentist during pre-operative and operative procedures.
• Scan patients for procedures using Itero scanner; handle pre- and post-op work, crowns and bridges.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Provide and reinforce post-operative instructions to patients.
• Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction.
• Support Airway, Invisalign and general dentistry treatments.
• Place temporary crowns, attachments, buttons, and fixed expanders.
• Manage online scheduling, consults, and virtual appointments.
