Company Description

Are you a Dental Assistant/Receptionist with a passion for patient care?Family Care Orthodontists is seeking a friendly, motivated, and team-oriented Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our practice on a casual basis.

Experience is preferred but not essential. The role involves clinical chairside assisting and front desk responsibilities, so strong communication skills and a professional manner are a must.


Job Description

  • Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
  • Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
  • Manage front-of-house duties, ensuring a smooth and welcoming patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Dental Assistant, Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of dental software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of sterilisation protocols and guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
