Job summary

Aria Community Health Center is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant to deliver preventive care and assist the dentist in clinical procedures. The role involves patient education, preparing supplies, and maintaining a safe clinical environment.

Additional duties may include imaging and basic dental procedures as privileges allow. Candidates should hold an active California license as a Registered Dental Assistant and BLS certification; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with strong teamwork

Qualifications

• Active CA license and certification as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• BLS Certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provides oral hygiene and preventive services to dental patients.
• Evaluates and assesses provision of services.
• Performs procedures safely under the direction of a dentist.
• Educates patients on oral care techniques and dental health.
• May perform X-Rays/imaging, remove sutures, tooth polishing, impressions, fluoride application, and topical medications as privileges allow.
• Prepares materials and equipment for treatment and keeps them ready for use.
