Qualifications

Surgical Dental Assistant for a fast-paced periodontal-implant practice

Pay

• $18 - $25 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

• 5x8
• Monday to Friday
• Day shift
• Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm
• Breaks: Lunch (not counted as work hours).
• Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
• Holiday Shifts: FT employees are paid holidays, PT employees are paid holiday if the holiday falls on their regularly scheduled day

Requirements

• License & Certification: Driver’s license, Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, X-ray / Radiography Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Certified Preventive Functions Dental Assistant
• Software Experience: Dexis, Other Dental Software
• Clinical Experience: Implant Dentistry

Our Periodontal-Implant practice is in search of 1-2 dental assistants to join our work family!

Ideal candidate

• Experience with dental implants and dental surgery [Willing to train the right candidate]
• Lab/sterilization experience a plus
• Experience with Dexis intra-oral scanning a bonus
• Willing to travel between our two offices as needed (Virginia Beach-Lynnhaven Mall area and Chesapeake-Greenbrier Mall area)
• CPR, OSHA certified
