Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry Of The Keys is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team in the Florida Keys. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and a supportive, drama-free workplace.

You will assist during procedures, take digital X-rays, ensure patient comfort, and help maintain a clean, safe clinic environment. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of experience, a relevant license (RDA/CDA and X-ray), and a positive team mindset.

Qualifications

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, X-ray / Radiography Certification, Infection Control License
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred; willing to train
• Certifications such as RDA and X-Ray Certification are highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures in a modern, well-equipped facility
• Provide chairside care to ensure patient comfort
• Take digital X-rays and document patient information accurately
• Prepare treatment rooms and adhere to infection control standards
• Explain post-operative care and oral hygiene to patients
• Support the clinical team to maintain smooth daily workflow

Pay

• $24 - $27 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Full-time (32–40 hours per week).

Requirements

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, X-ray / Radiography Certification, Infection Control License
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice

Experience

1 year of Dental Assisting experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome—we are happy to provide on-the-job training!

Certifications

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and X-Ray Certification are highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge

Familiarity with dental instruments, procedures, and infection control standards.

Soft Skills

Strong multitasking abilities, organizational skills, and a positive "team-player" mindset.
