Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience performing intra-oral procedures.
• Experience with taking preliminary dental impressions and charting.
• Radiology certification as required by law and position qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform intra-oral procedures as directed by dentist.
• Take and record dental radiographs to support evaluation and treatment planning.
• Receive and schedule patients for treatment.
• Prepare and arrange instruments and materials for each treatment.
• Sterilize dental instruments and ensure infection-control compliance.
• Aid in training trainee dental assistants and students.
• Prepare surgical trays with sterilized instruments and supplies.
• Assist with sutures and rubber dam placement as needed.
