Job summary

MyCare Health Center is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists in primary care dentistry. Responsibilities include chair-side assistance, instrument sterilization, radiography, infection control, and patient flow management.

The role requires completion of an accredited dental assisting program, dental radiography certification, CPR, and a commitment to accuracy and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Accredited course in dental assisting completed.
• Dental Radiography Certification obtained.
• Registered Dental Assistant preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist and hygienist as chair-side support.
• Sterilize, prepare and inventory dental instruments and supplies.
• Obtain dental radiographs per regulations.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA-compliant records.
• Monitor patient flow and prep operatory per protocols.
• Ensure proper disposal of contaminated materials.
