Job description

Description: Dental Assistant: Dacula, GA PT/FT position. M/T/W/TH. We are an established dental office that is completely digital and paperless, and we need a team player dental assistant who is efficient, productive, and caring with exceptional communication skills. Some knowledge of dental insurance is helpful but not required, and treatment planning presentation is a plus. Must be proficient in basic general dentistry, sterilization, and four-handed dentistry. We are a quality-oriented office, and the candidate must be able to multitask. Someone who is willing to learn.

Special Considerations:

  1. Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis x-rays is a plus.
  2. Basic computer knowledge - Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and typing efficiency).
  3. Additional knowledge of assisting with orthodontics and implants.
  4. Any basic knowledge of dental insurance.
  5. The ability to present and explain basic treatment to patients.
  6. Dental Front Office skills would be preferred.
  7. We are a multilingual practice and prefer multilingual staff.

Terms: This is a permanent part-time position to begin with a potential to a full-time position for the right candidate (2 to 4 days).

  1. Benefits: Dental benefits after probationary period is completed.
  2. Payscale: Hourly $13-24 (DOE) depending on experience.
  3. Preferred to have at least two professional references.
  4. Required start date: ASAP.
  5. Some dental experience of at least 1-2 years preferred.
