Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support implant procedures and ensure high-quality patient care. You will prepare instruments, maintain infection control, and assist chair-side while keeping patients comfortable and informed throughout visits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• Strong manual dexterity and precision with dental instruments
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology

Responsibilities

• Assist the Prosthodontist in advanced dental implant procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment with strict infection control
• Provide chair-side assistance, anticipate needs, keep area organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed during visits
• Take dental X-rays and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
• Support inventory management, lab coordination, and record-keeping
• Schedule appointments and manage front-office tasks
• Collaborate with oral surgeons, hygienists, and patient education staff to ensure quality care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair‑side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout the visit
• Take dental x‑rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post‑operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and record‑keeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
