Job summary

The Dental Assistant is responsible for preparing patients for dental procedures, assisting patients with treatments, and maintaining patient dental records at FirstClass Healthcare in Canton, GA. This role supports the dentist with patient care, handles instrument preparation and sanitation, and helps manage patient records and scheduling.

Qualified candidates will have a 1-2 year dental assistant program and at least 1 year of experience, plus CDA/EFDA certification and BLS before starting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists dentist with patient care during procedures.
• Prepares, maintains and sterilizes dental instruments and supplies.
• Assists with taking, developing or viewing dental X-rays.
• Manages dental supplies and inventory.
• Maintains cleanliness of the clinic.
• Performs scheduling and administrative tasks.
• Educates patients on procedures and oral hygiene.
• Performs other duties to support FirstClass Healthcare.
