Job summary

This full-time dental assistant role contributes to a patient-first dental experience, assisting clinicians, preparing patients for treatment, and supporting restorative procedures while maintaining sterile conditions.

Ideal candidates hold a Dental Assisting Certification, radiography credentials, CPR, and comfort with dental software and scanning tools such as PrimeScan.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training.
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
• Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state.
• CPR Certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patient.
• Experience making temp crowns.
• Experience using scanner (preferably a PrimeScan).
• Preferred but not required, experience on ordering and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry.
• Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Maintain asepsis and assist with instrument sterilization.
• Review daily schedule and set up trays/instruments.
• Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
