Job summary
Peak Dental in Utah is seeking a Dental Assistant to help the doctor chairside, maintain infection control, and ensure a clear, kind patient experience throughout every visit.
You will prepare rooms, assist for restorative and surgical treatments, take digital X-rays, chart in Open Dental, and support lab work and front-office tasks as needed.
The right candidate will be detail-oriented, team-focused, and tech-savvy, with a accredited assisting program and CPR/BLS and radiology certification.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited assisting program.
- CPR/BLS and radiology certification.
- 1+ year assisting experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork.
- Tech-savvy and calm in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare rooms, instruments, and materials for each procedure.
- Assist chairside for restorative and surgical treatments.
- Take and process digital X-rays.
- Maintain infection control standards.
- Chart accurately in Open Dental.
- Support lab cases, patient flow, and occasional front-office needs.
