Thundermist Health Center in West Warwick, RI is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our busy dental team. You will set up procedures, assist clinicians, take x‑rays, capture impressions, and help document treatment plans while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role is per diem with clinic hours Monday–Thursday 8:00–8:00 and Friday 8:00–5:00; on site only. High school diploma required; X‑Ray and BLS certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using computers for charting and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous dental assistant experience is a plus — candidates who don’t meet every preferred qualification are encouraged to apply.

About the Role

Reporting to the Dental Practice Manager, you’ll handle a range of clinical and administrative tasks that keep our dental operations running efficiently.

Schedule & Locations

This is a Per Diem Dental Assistant position available at our Thundermist Health Center location in South County. Our dental clinics operate Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Your schedule may include rotating evenings based on department needs.

You’ll work onsite at a Thundermist location in a clinical dental setting.

• Frequent use of fingers and hands for instrument manipulation and dental equipment operation.
• You’ll be on your feet for most of the day.
• Exposure to standard clinical materials, including dental instruments and x‑ray equipment.
