TCA Health Inc.- NFP in Chicago's south side seeks a Dental Assistant to support the Dentist in delivering quality adult and pediatric dental care within a general dentistry practice. You'll assist with procedures, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, manage dental records, and help with patient comfort and scheduling in a clinical setting.

Certification as a Dental Assistant and CPR are required; at least 1 year in a public health setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal/oral communication skills.
• Good typing and computer skills.
• Professional demeanor at all times.
• At least 1 year experience in a public health setting.
• Current CPR Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assist Dentist with dental procedures and ensure supplies and equipment are available.
• Set up and prepare dental treatment rooms.
• Process and sterilize dental instruments between patients.
• Make patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper dental records, and ensure safety of records.
• Pull and file patient charts daily and prepare new charts.
