Job summary

Mason Dental is seeking a knowledgeable Dental Assistant to join our patient-centric team in Manchester, Vermont. You will support the dentist, set up equipment, educate patients, and document procedures to ensure safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and HIPAA privacy.
• One year dental assisting experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• DANB certification preferred.
• State-specific license/cert requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments for tray setups before procedures.
• Take diagnostic digital imaging as prescribed by the dentists.
• Assist within the legal scope of duties per state regulations.
• Maintain meticulous patient charts and documentation.
• Set up and breakdown rooms according to infection control protocols between patients.
• Communicate patient and equipment needs with coworkers.
