Job summary

North American Dental Group seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant in Toledo, OH. You will provide outstanding clinical support, prepare patients for treatment, and assist dentists in restorative procedures, while maintaining high standards of care and efficiency.

Responsibilities include charting, sterilization, radiographs, and adherence to OSHA/HIPAA/CPR certifications. The role offers a full-time schedule with a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Deliver chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting and operatory setup/cleanup.
• Record and review patient health histories and ensure complete documentation under the dentist's direction.
• Set up trays/instruments based on the schedule and procedure requirements.
• Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis per OSHA standards.
• Assist with dental procedures, including exposing/developing diagnostic radiographs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support and patient education during procedures.
• Manage chart entries and health histories under dentist guidance.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain asepsis.
• Assist with radiographs and procedure setup.
• Support dentists and hygienists to deliver high-quality care.
