Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or relevant on-the-job training.
• Active dental assistant certification/license as required by state law.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures.
• Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories.
• Take radiographs and impressions as directed by the dentist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system.
• Monitor inventory and inform leads of supply needs.
• Follow OSHA, CDC and HIPAA protocols for safety.
• Support a team-first culture and uphold Squire Dental values.
