Job summary

Mosaic Community Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Oregon. You will prep rooms, patients, and instruments, and directly assist Dentists during procedures while maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment.

Responsibilities include charting in the EMR, taking X-rays as prescribed, and educating patients on dental hygiene. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse patients are essential; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School education or better.
• CPR certification and OR Radiology License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and set up trays for procedures.
• Assist Dentist during dental procedures and record notes in the EMR.
• Take dental X-rays as prescribed by the Dentist.
• Provide patient education on dental hygiene and post-operative care.
• Open and close the operatory at the start and end of each day.
