Job summary

Wyoming Cosmetic and Family Dental in Cheyenne, WY seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to support dentists during procedures, prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

You will take and develop dental x-rays, manage patient records, and provide patient education on oral hygiene. This position requires standing for extended periods and flexibility for evenings or Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and instruments.
• Experience with or knowledge of dental software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for procedures.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and suctioning.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain patient records and schedule appointments.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Assist with front desk duties when needed.
