Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, taking and developing dental X-rays, maintaining patient records, sterilizing instruments, educating patients on oral hygiene, scheduling and coordinating follow-up, and supporting daily office operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
  • X-ray certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays.
  • Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow up on treatment plans.
  • Perform office tasks as needed to support the dental office operations.
