Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Durango, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support the dentist during a variety of procedures and ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, taking and developing dental X-rays, maintaining patient records, sterilizing instruments, educating patients on oral hygiene, scheduling and coordinating follow-up, and supporting daily office operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
• X-ray certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
