El Rio Health is seeking a Dental Assistant in Tucson, AZ to support dentists and hygienists by passing instruments, taking impressions, and assisting in emergency procedures as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a dental assistant certificate or equivalent experience, and active radiology certification, BLS, and fingerprint clearance. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and reliable transportation is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Arizona radiology certificate.
• BLS for healthcare providers certification.
• Level I fingerprint clearance card.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Assist dentists and hygienists by passing instruments and preparing supplies.
• Take preliminary impressions, pour, and trim dental models; assist in emergencies per policy.
• Record treatment data and code charges; maintain dental charts and progress notes.
• Prepare patients for treatment and take vital signs as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized operatories and sterilization areas.
