Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR, X-ray techniques, and X-ray certification are required.
• Clerical experience is preferred.
• An A.A./B.S. degree is preferred, along with relevant certifications.
• 1–3 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists and set up treatment rooms.
• Prepare patients for treatment and maintain clinical notes.
• Perform and assist with x-rays and dental tests as directed.
• Sterilize instruments and manage inventory of supplies.
• Follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and teamwork.
• Post patient charges accurately and maintain records.
