Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and sterilize, disinfect, and log instruments.
• Set up instrument trays and prepare dental materials.
• Assist dentist during procedures and obtain health history, vitals and consent forms.
• Handle impressions and model pours, expose radiographs and develop them.
• Monitor nitrous oxide treatment and provide post-op instructions.
• Record treatment information in patient records and perform routine procedures such as cleaning and fluoride applications.
