Job summary

Dental Arts of Frisco is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our dedicated dental team. You will support the dentist in clinical and administrative tasks, helping create a smooth, comfortable environment for patients and ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced practice.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, a CDA or RDA certification, proficiency with Dentrix or Eaglesoft, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience in a clinical setting.
• CDA or RDA certification required (EFDA or radiology certifications a plus).
• Knowledge of instruments, sterilization methods, and infection control.
• Experience with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients and ensure comfort during treatments and check-ups.
• Assist dentist with procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Support lab tasks and provide post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain patient records, handle charts, documentation, and payments.
• Schedule appointments and keep the office organized and stocked.
• Perform non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing if certified.
