Jupiter Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing practice, which specializes in general, cosmetic, reconstruction, and implant dentistry. You will sterilize instruments, prepare rooms, assist the dentist, take vitals, and handle receptionist duties.

You will educate patients on treatments and aftercare, maintain HIPAA records, ensure infection control, and assist with lab tasks such as pouring models and temporary crowns.

Qualificações

• Proficiency with dental practice management systems.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation: Sterilizing instruments, setting up treatment rooms, ensuring equipment is ready.
• Assisting the Dentist: Handing instruments, suction, and support during procedures.
• Patient Care: Taking vitals, recording medical history and dental charting.
• Dental Receptionist Duties: Scheduling, phone calls, and patient records.
• Patient Education: Explaining treatments and post-care instructions.
• Compliance: Maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.
• Infection Control: Following strict protocols for a safe environment.
• Laboratory Support: Assisting with models, temporary crowns, and lab cases.
