Chew Chew Dental is seeking a proactive Dental Assistant to support both clinical and front-office duties in a busy private practice. You will assist the dentist, prepare rooms, take X-rays, and maintain clean, organized operatory spaces.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset to deliver excellent patient experiences and support practice growth.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Active X-Ray License required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments.
• Take dental X-rays (active certification required).
• Take dental impressions.
• Set up and clean operatories between patients.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Record patient information and treatment notes.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain inventory and restock clinical supplies.
• Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Check dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Enter insurance information and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records.
