Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• RDA credential with ASBDE, or eligible within 30 days of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification approved by ASBDE.
• Arkansas-approved training for expanded functions (X-ray, coronal polishing, nitrous monitoring).
• Adherence to OSHA, CDC, HIPAA and infection-control requirements.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with dental software.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance for exams, fillings, extractions, crowns, and more.
• Prepare treatment rooms and set up trays, instruments, and materials.
• Take radiographs and document procedures in the patient record.
• Sterilize instruments, maintain logs, and ensure equipment readiness.
• Greet patients, manage flow, and communicate aftercare instructions.
