Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• At least 3 years chairside dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentists and Hygienists in patient care and instrument handling.
• Maintain sterile technique and proper infection control in operatories.
• Record treatment notes and correctly code charges in the dental chart.
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort and safety.
• Support workflow and patient flow to maximize provider time.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety policies.
