Qualifications

• Familiarity with Hispanic culture.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental treatment and set up instruments.
• Maintain clear operating areas during procedures using suction, water sprays, and barriers.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare restorative materials.
• Assist in constructing models of teeth from impressions.
• Welcomes and registers patients and manages charts and encounter forms.
• Schedule appointments and remind patients; maintain follow-up tracking files.
• Assist with clinic flow and inventory management.
• Perform insurance verification and daily cash handling.
• Participate in Quality Management and Infection Control programs.
• Provide Dental Assistant coverage at Lincoln Heights and Highland Park as needed.
