Job summary

Bedi Dental Group in Lexington, MA is seeking a highly-skilled Dental Assistant to join our established practice. You will support dentists during procedures, complete intake paperwork, update patient records, and maintain sterile, organized treatment rooms to HIPAA standards.

Ideal candidates have an accredited dental assisting program, state certification, at least 2 years of clinical experience, strong computer skills, and excellent written and verbal communication to build rapport with

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited dental assisting program.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience after graduation.
• State certification to practice dental assisting and compliance with state requirements.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist in clinical treatment of patients.
• Maintain clean and sterilized treatment rooms per OSHA guidelines.
• Manage patient records securely in compliance with HIPAA.
• Prepare and send out dental laboratory cases; track referrals.
• Ensure consistent stock of supplies in treatment rooms.
• Support office operations as needed (phones, forms, records).
• Perform expanded functions as assigned by the dentist.
